Narcissus
Also know as the Daffodil. I love these flower's. I feel as though most people just disregard and ignore them. I find such beauty in this Gene. So many variates, color's and size's to choose from. Ive decided I will just show you a glimpse of some of the more common variates and color's that come with this stunning flower. Narcissus also make a great cut flower. Don't over look this beauty.

Quick Note - Daffodil is said to have originated from north Africa. The Roman Soldiers carried the Narcissus bulb as a healing tool. The slimy juices of the bulb where said to glue together cuts and wounds caused from sward's and spear's. Fortunately now we know this plant is poisonous. At one time the wild Daffodils of England where hunted down to nearly extinction all Because of their rise in popularity. They where stolen from the meadow's and brook's until there was a public outcry. For the first time in recorded history masses of people in England protested and demanded Legislation for the Conservation of their Wildlife.

What's in bloom and happening in the house.
African Violet
Blooming this week in the house is my Dendrobium Orchid's I have two in blooming at the moment. Some left over Christmas Cactus. A very sweet pink African violet, and a really pretty Primrose. there's a striking red Cyclamen and a succulent known as Euphorbia ( Crown-of-thorns or Christ Plant ) of which I did not mean to Purchase. Somehow what I did buy died and this just started growing out of the pot seemingly out of nowhere.

Now is the time I've started most of my Indoor seedling's for the vegetable garden and annual / perennial flowers. Way to many to list. I start most of my plant's under grow light then eventually I transplant them and move them to the sun room or cold frame. I garden on a budget and I try to ONLY grow Organically.
